A quick tip for those of you in contact with toddlers and juiceboxes.
Kind of specific, eh?
This has been so helpful for us that I want to take a hot minute and share it with you. Lest you and your toddler spend your days covered in juice. (I say lest a LOT, you guys.)
So, here’s the thing. Grab a juicebox. Turn it to the side. See that flap? Lift it. Then lift the other side. It should look like your juicebox has wings. Now hand it to your toddler by the wings. Instruct him or her to hold the wings. You can call them dragon wings or butterfly wings or just juicebox flaps, depending on what your kid will get into.
Now the child won’t grab the full box and squeeze it everywhere. (I don’t know if you’ve noticed but toddlers don’t tend to be particularly gentle.) Apparently this is actually the intended use of the juice box design. According to my mom. Either way, your child will be fully hydrated. He or she will not be sticky from head to toe. You will ride home surrounded by fairies and unicorns.
You’re welcome and cheers.
What kid tips have changed your life? Have you see this before? My mom showed me. She’s so smart.
